The “Civil Security for Society” is a cluster of the Horizon Europe Programme that funds research and innovation, including projects to help cities become more secure, and more resilient. It is especially relevant to face for tackling security threats and rapidly modernising and adapting infrastructure from legacy systems. It encourages collaboration between cities, researchers, security practitioners, NGOs and policymakers to develop solutions, share knowledge and improve urban safety and resilience. Projects look at tackling crime and terrorism, protecting critical infrastructure , disaster resilience and border management.
