Description
The Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI) is entering a key phase in its mission to accelerate the systemic circular transition in cities and regions through tailored technical and knowledge support. All 12 of its first pilot cities and regions are now communicating about concrete circular solutions implemented on the ground with support from CCRI experts. Their new Solution Booklets distil lessons learned, challenges, success factors and practical guidance to help other municipalities replicate and scale up similar approaches.
This milestone marks a shift from piloting to broader replication and uptake across Europe – fully in line with the EU Urban Policy Agenda and the ambition to make cities drivers of the circular and green transition. More information, pilot profiles and resources are available on the CCRI website, and stakeholders are invited to join the next CCRI webinar to explore these achievements and next steps.
