Climate Neutral Blue Cities by 2030: Accelerating Local Change under the EU Cities and Ocean Missions

Under the auspices of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU, the event brings together European and local leaders, national authorities, and urban stakeholders and practitioners to explore how port and coastal cities can rapidly advance towards climate neutrality. As one of the EU Mission’s 100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities, Limassol hosts this forum to highlight opportunities, challenges and innovations shaping the green and blue transition, addressing themes such as port–city decarbonisation, sustainable mobility, renewable energy, financing, smart grids and coastal resilience, and strengthening cooperation towards climate-neutral, resilient and liveable blue cities across Europe.
