Description
The European Affordable Housing Plan sets out ten key areas of action where the EU can add value and support efforts by other public authorities and stakeholders to tackle the housing crisis, including an Affordable Housing Act in 2026 and a Housing Simplification Package in 2027.
To ensure that these initiatives reflect the realities and needs of regions and cities, we would like to invite you to a hybrid workshop.
We would like to draw your attention to the preparatory Detailed Questionnaire relating to the preparation of the Affordable Housing Act, which you are welcome to respond to by 3 April 2026. All relevant documents, including the Detailed Questionnaire, the Call for Evidence (CfE), the European Affordable Housing Plan, the Analytical Staff Working Document, and related Commission initiatives adopted on 16 December 2025, are available here.
We hope you will join us to share your insights and contribute to shaping practical, effective European housing policies.
