Description
UTM and DUT invite urban practitioners for a webinar series about how cities around the world successfully manage sustainable mobility and transport in a way that facilitates economic opportunities and sustains culturally-vibrant communities.
Starting from 12 February and throughout March 2026, the Urban Transitions Mission (UTM) in collaboration with Driving Urban Transitions Partnership (DUT) will be inviting city representatives and other urban experts to learn what cities in the UTM Cohort are doing to tackle mobility and transport issues at home. This four-part series of webinars will feature a mix of practitioners working on cities’ transport services and other mobility experts from around the world.
The idea is to present and discuss a portfolio of replicable options suitable from small towns to large metropolitan areas, including touching on the following aspects:
- The growing set of viable alternatives for decarbonising public transport, whether in terms of mass transport or individual mobility;
- Increasing the uptake of active, inclusive mobility which provide substantial cross-cutting benefits for the users themselves;
- Innovative digital tools already accelerating how both decision-makers and residents can optimise mobility options;
- Identifying synergies between public, private and societal agendas which all contribute to making urban transport more sustainable;
- Holistic, multi-modal mobility and participatory planning to ensure that services bring real added value for the wider community and local economy.
Stay up to date for when this webinar series will launch from February to March 2026 by checking out UTM’s events.
