Practical measures such as access to e-bike trials, rewards for cycling and volunteer-led Bicibus schemes for schoolchildren can help municipalities make cycling a more attractive transport option. A new set of policy briefs from the SPECIFIC project, funded by Driving Urban Transitions (DUT), highlights these and other practical measures that can help municipalities to accelerate the shift toward everyday cycling.
The policy briefs explore examples from Bellinzona (Switzerland), Bristol (the UK), Graz (Austria), Maastricht (Netherlands) and Poznań (Poland), and are available in English and other languages.
