The fourth Call for Proposals under the European Urban Initiative – Innovative Actions (EUI-IA) will launch in February 2026, with an indicative ERDF budget of EUR 60 million.
The call aims to support urban authorities of all sizes across Europe, with a particular focus on small and medium-sized cities, in testing small-scale, locally innovative solutions to pressing urban challenges.
As previously announced, this fourth edition introduces an updated support framework, reflecting EUI’s continued commitment to strengthening cities’ capacity to design and deliver innovative responses to complex urban challenges.
Cities will be invited to submit project proposals aligned with the priorities of the EU Agenda for Cities.
